EDITORIAL SPREAD DESIGN - WHY WE TRAVEL
This project won a GOLD ADDY Award - American Advertising Federation Northeast Arkansas in 2024.
In the project "Why We Travel?," I employ my expertise to curate a captivating magazine experience. With a focus on a cozy, warm ambiance, the dynamic 3-column spread adheres meticulously to prescribed design systems, color palettes, and spatial guidelines. Beginning with a thorough understanding of magazine layout principles, I harness the power of industry-standard tools such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator to bring the travel theme to life. Embracing a palette inspired by autumnal hues—yellow, red-brown, and dark green—I aim to evoke a sense of tranquility and adventure within the publication's pages.
Strategic placement of fall-themed photographs and callouts serves to enhance both visual appeal and thematic cohesion throughout the layout. Despite encountering challenges in decision-making and design refinement, each iteration of the project undergoes meticulous scrutiny, resulting in invaluable insights and refined executions. Throughout this professional endeavor, I remain committed to delivering an exceptional product that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of the client, fostering a deeper appreciation for the artistry and intricacies of magazine design.
